21 Days to Pangie

One of the side effects of the medication I stopped on Wednesday was fatigue. My doctor said I would start to notice a difference, little by little, over the next few days as the medication was flushed out of my system. I’m already noticing that the fatigue is decreasing. The diet will likely help with that also, so I don’t know which to thank for this, but I had more energy today than I’ve had in a long time. I spent a few hours on the phone with Jen today while she packed and I did some laundry and dishes and we generally caught up with each other’s lives. It was nice to chat with her and be productive, and I never once felt like I needed a nap. I could get used to this!

I tried a different kind of fish today: halibut. In the past, I actually kind of liked halibut. Either I had some really terrible halibut today, though, or I have lost the taste for it as well. Strike three, fish. You’re out!

I went to Forks Over Knives tonight with Simple Ginger. I really enjoyed it! I’ll try to organize my thoughts on it for tomorrow’s post. I definitely would like to read The China Study after seeing the movie. In the mean time, if you would like to read a review, I recommend No Meat Athlete’s review.
